Tribute to William James Oliver Jordan, 1941 - 2026

Thank you for sharing so many memories of Dad. As you’d expect given his rage of interests, the stories are varied and plentiful, but all have common themes - perhaps none more so than his love of games. The picture I shared of Dad, Joe and myself playing rugby on the beach personified his love of sport and keeping himself and others entertained. We would create games from anything and then play them with an intensity and seriousness that shocked many. Winning was key and so it was always useful to be on Dad’s team. But Dad’s team was vast and generous. He touched so many lives and so many thanks again for taking the time to share some of these stories with us. Thanks to all attending his funeral later and to the many I know that will be watching online. Henry
